Having grown up and lived in an artistic and creative environment, Hela Chadi has developed under the brand name CERISE (CHERRY), a line of modern and useful products highlighting the delicate art of embroidery. Project initiator and founder of the company SOCADECO, she has a degree in Economics and International Relations. She was also interested in art during a trip to Rome and took courses of design at Centre d’Art Vivant de Radés (Live Art Centre of Rades). |
Socadeco collection includes five families of products whose names are derived from the Tunisian dialect:
- MIDA meaning TABLE, lists all articles related to tableware (tablecloths, table mats, napkins ...)
- DAR meaning HOUSE, includes items related to home decoration (curtains, cushions, plaids, boxes of dressing ...)
- HAMMAM meaning STEAM BATH, includes items related to the bathroom (terry towels, bath mats, soap holders ...)
- KHARJA meaning GOING OUT contains accessories we need when going out (bags, kits, scarves ...)
- BIROU meaning OFFICE includes items used in the office (notepads, briefcases, pen holders...)
